The Divine Mother
Presence and Absence
Oppressed humans, unbelievable hardship—and the Earth drowning in unthinkable uncharitableness. What an inverted, even perverted life, what an incomprehensible existence: one total negation of Love with no comforting encouragement at all. God is far, His opponent(s) force and flay anyone and anything that lives and loves, and sheer bewilderment prevails at so many hostile attitudes, actions, conflicts come about from interests, and open disputes. In strident tones and power-driven, militant slogans or martial subjugation, the Earth keeps floating towards even sadder misery. When the light of salvation continues to be pushed yet further aside by the dangerous greed and the deluge of self-staging presentations and when dread grows relentlessly by wilful ignorance, importance, ambition, and war, then disbelieving fright gets more and more pervasive. And yet this: “God saw all that he had made—and it was very good!” (Genesis 1, 31) But today: Has this ever been good? Or, has that ever been truthful? One thing, though, has remained to this day: It is the winner who writes history!
This was in the beginning: What vibrates, pulses or roars deep within the soul, bears the Mother’s features and overcomes death. This is how it erstwhile was. Yet today this yearning, this being-unfulfilled looks for this late maternal feeling only in fellow humans, since the Mother has been nowhere to be found. Even so, many still hope, even after so many attempts to no avail, to be touched by Her. However, where can this Mother be found for whom so many long in vain? Firstly, one’s own mind or reason, together with one’s heart, should open up a little to the whistleblowing feeling and assume—even-mindedly—the prospect of her existence, in order to be in touch again with the One presumed missing—and, as things move on, possibly, to build a relationship again with Her. And: Expectantly, the Mother looks out, Her eyes in prayer, to those who hopefully will choose Her at the very last moment, so Judgement Day for the ones concerned will be a liberating one—rather than the very last one. This predication is meant to give centre‑stage to hope—rather than judgement!
